Good training
ensures efficiency. However, many institutions do not provide mentor programmes for
new researchers. We therefore developed a comprehensive training system to fill
this gap. |

Even where good mentor programmes are in
place, our training modules enhance the work
of supervisors. |
|
|
|
We firstly deal with the research process. The principles are
illustrated with interesting examples from
history. Only then do we show how Research Toolbox works. |
|
|
|
There are ten training sessions over five days. Each session starts with a video on a
particular research element (e.g. the literature survey). |
|
|
|
After discussion, the hands-on
training in the use of Research Toolbox is given. The rest
of the session is then spent on discussion and "homework". |
