Writing the report while doing the research work

Before we discuss Work Database in detail, let’s use a simple example to explain its use. What would you think of the builder that does the following?

1. He has a plan available which shows him what he should do to achieve his final goal (the building).

2. During the course of the building project, he works hard to acquire the materials as specified by his original plan.

3. All the building materials are simply "dumped" haphazardly on the building site.

4. When the time comes for him to deliver his project output (the building) he has either lost the momentum to complete the project or he frantically has to sift through all the material on site and start with his building. Materials are handled and shifted around many times as the project takes shape.

5. Fortunately, things become a bit more organised later (after much time and money are wasted) and the detail of the building can be finished.
